Nearly That Time

One of the things I’ve noticed lately is that Bean is hungry for the company of others, particularly other kids. Our family over here isn’t terribly large, and when it’s just us three at home she’s generally pleasant. But watching her in a big crowd, or even with her cousin, you can see that she’s dying to talk to others, make faces at them, play with them. We took her to the playground on Sunday, and she was only marginally interested in the slide and the swings and whatnot.

It's possible that my pushing technique isn't all it could be.

The rest of the time, she was watching other kids, or following them around, or trying to get them to notice her by pulling faces.

"What are they doing over there?"

So we’re considering sending her to nursery school a few half-days a week starting in the fall. ย For now, there’s a school that has a one-hour play group that T might swing by with her, to see if it’s a nice place.

"Oh, wait, what are THEY doing over there?"

Of course, SOME PEOPLE would say that this is a sign I should have another baby ASAP. To which I reply: One child in nappies at a time. This is my ironclad rule.

  1. Come on.. adding in a little time for actual conception.. then “cooking” it would be a year before another one.. she could be out of nappies by then… ๐Ÿ˜‰ LOVE you guys… come on more babies!!!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Um, yah, I was with Kate too…..thought this might be some big announcement. However, I do agree with Cathy as well…..add the cooking time, and it would be a year….C’mon, you’ve got to make more cute cousins for my kids!! LOL!
    xoxo.

  3. I am almost in my size 6 jeans, people. I would like to have at least 9 months of being thin again.

The factory will re-tool for a new production line in 2012. End of.
